WINTER PARK, FLORIDA – This could go down in history as the strangest post we have ever done.
The Winter Park Hickory Classic was played on the Winter Park “9” Golf Course, the before the PGA Merchandise show. Bill Geisler, Director of the Tournament said at the dinner Saturday night, “I am so pleased with the response to the event. The 2-day event has taken on an amazing life of it’s own.”
I would think that in the future… if the city realized what Mr. Geisler has created… and they wanted to be involved with some support, maybe the is a name change to “The Hickory Classic – at Winter Park 9,” becase it truly is a Classic. How amazing would that be for a limited select group of Hickory Golfer.
I mentioned that this could be the strangest post that we have ever done. We are posting all the photos first. Then the balance of the story and additional photos will follow. Yes… there are more photos… so visit this page often… there will be more to tell.
